What Fuels Our Passion?

Patient Outcomes, Practioner Well-Being, and Health-Equity

We Are Laser-Focused on Surgical Visualization

Our breakthrough portable microscope system, GoScope™, integrates multiple innovative digital technologies to address the long-standing limitations of traditional microscope systems. With near-zero latency, exceptional image clarity, and unmatched ergonomic design, GoScope™ delivers superior performance while remaining incredibly user-friendly, eliminating the steep learning curve associated with older systems.

Our vision is to make high-quality surgical visualization accessible and affordable for clinicians worldwide. By offering more value at a lower cost, we aim to democratize this transformative technology, empowering healthcare professionals and improving patient outcomes across the globe.

The GoScope™ Revolution Is Here

Magnification & Precision

Magnification can improve surgical procedures by allowing surgeons to see more clearly and closely, which can lead to greater precision and more successful outcomes. The advanced technology of GoScope™ leads to seeing better, doing better and feeling great! High magnification, clarity, and the intuitive design improve the clinician’s experience well-being and patient outcomes.

Efficiency

A microscope platform with integrated lights and hands-free voice control means no more stopping and starting during procedures to take video, adjust the zoom or turn the lights up brighter. This way you can focus on your patient, never lose sight of the procedural field and keep your hands on what matters most.

Ease Of Use

Turn on GoScope™ and treat patients. No calibration or complicated set up required. Portable and easy to travel with from room to room or office to office. At only 30 pounds and the ability to fit into a carryon suitcase, 3D microscopy can now reach more patients in need.

MATTHEW MALTESE

Chief Engineer and Co-Founder

Matt, a seasoned engineer, is a pioneering expert in optics, biomechanics, and medical device innovation, making him a leading figure in the advancement of medical technology. His career is driven by a deep commitment to health equity.

As an engineer embedded in clinical settings, he and his team worked alongside clinicians to develop medtech concepts from ideation to pre-clinical and clinical use. His work on a novel medical device to provide visualization and auditory feedback to clinicians performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation has been widely published in the peer-reviewed literature. Dr. Maltese is a former research professor in the Perelman School of Medicine of the University of Pennsylvania and has a 25-year research and publication history that includes the use of multi-camera systems and sensors to quantify anatomical motion in three dimensions; such research experience contributes to the innovation of X-Biomedical’s multi-camera 3D visualization intellectual property now embodied in GoScope. His contributions exemplify a career dedicated to eliminating healthcare disparities by enhancing medical interventions and technologies, ultimately improving patient outcomes and advancing equitable access to cutting-edge healthcare solutions globally.

Frequently Asked Questions

GoScope™ is a digital visualization system designed to modernize the traditional microscope.  Turn on the power, put on the GoGlasses, position the Scopehead over the desired operating field and start your procedure using voice controls or the GoScope™ Control App on any device.

Stream to any monitor with the GoPlayer™ accessory.

Use the provided wireless tablet to send drawings or messages to the clinician’s GoGlasses™ view.

GoScope™ is FDA listed for use in the U.S.

GoScope™ is an ideal visualization system for surgeons and dentists including all subspecialties.

Everything you need to be up and running in minutes is included with a GoScope™ unit.  GoGlasses™ , GoTablet™ , the scopehead, base and rolling stand, voice recording, video recording and image capture are all included.

GoScope™ is an all-inclusive system. Multiple pricing options exist. Please contact us to discuss the one that is best for your business.

The Scopehead on GoScope™ is flexible enough to be positioned in ways that are prohibited by the inherent structure of the traditional microscope.  Hard to reach and see operating fields are now accessible so that patients can be more comfortable and practitioners can enjoy ergonomic freedom.

Imagine positioning the scopehead over the operating field instead of contorting your body or the patient’s.

Direct microscopic vision on the maxillary teeth is now possible and so is getting behind the patient’s ear for surgery as an example.

The bending and twisting that causes practitioner injury can be dramatically reduced when using GoScope™.

Unlike status quo microscopes, GoScope™ does not need a beam splitter or any other accessories to take videos or pictures. GoScope™ can capture videos and images the first time you turn it on with simple voice commands, “GoScope™ screenshot” or “GoScope™ start recording”.

Most practitioners who regularly wear glasses may be able to use GoScope™ without their prescription glasses.  There is also an option to order prescription lenses for GoGlasses™.

The training required to use GoScope™ can range from a half a day to two days. Some practitioners are confident using GoScope™ after 20 minutes and others take more time.

The ability to use voice control like with Siri and Alexa allows the practitioner to keep their focus on the field and their hands engaged on the procedure versus reaching for dials or buttons to operate the microscope.
